Hey, my lovelies! Welcome back to my blog – I’m so excited to have you here!
Today, I’m bringing you another banging recipe that I know you’ll love. If you’re a fan of bold, hearty flavors with a spicy kick, you’re in for a real treat.
Let’s talk about Chicken Pepper Soup – a dish that’s both comforting and delicious. Whether it’s a rainy day or you’re just craving something warm and flavorful, this chicken pepper soup is the perfect choice.
Now, let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good pepper soup? For those who’ve been following me, you know I’m not the biggest fan of overly spicy food (yes, despite being Yoruba—don’t judge me, LOL).
But every now and then, I crave something spicy enough to wake up my taste buds, and this chicken pepper soup never disappoints!
Fun fact: I actually made this chicken pepper soup to encourage one of my sisters, who celebrated her birthday a few days before mine in December. It was such a hit that I just had to share this simple yet delightful recipe with you.
So, grab your apron, my lovelies, and let’s cook together.

- Place the cleaned chicken in a pot on medium heat.
- Add the blended pepper mix.
- Season with salt, seasoning powder or cubes, and pepper soup spice.

Step 2: Add Water and Cook
- Pour in 2 to 3 cups of water and stir.
- Cover and let it cook for another 20 minutes until the chicken is tender.
Step 3: Garnish and Serve
Add the chopped basil or scent leaves. (Pro tip: Chop the leaves right before adding them to retain their vibrant color.)

Serve hot and enjoy!
